Finnally (18 months later), a follow up to my article on Stylesheets in the Wiki....Web Page layout using DIVs

http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Webpage_layout

It's a long article, but there is a lot to understand and I try to cover enough to get you started but keep it simple

Happy DIV'ing

thanks guys -- I can't decide if I should do something on Javascript or PHP as the next article. Hopefully less than an 18 month wait. LOL

I had a chance to read both articles. They are very clear, easy to follow even though there is a lot information.
I have a blog that I can write to using html. It will be interesting to give this a go.

Difficult call! Although I think maybe Javascript as it can be used in snippets (<script> code </script>)to 'modify' data values produced by Cumulus using if / else etc. The logic of Javascript is easier to grasp but that's just my opinion. A simple example could be if rainrate > 0, then display 'It's raining' as a display in a current conditions area on a webpage.

Well done Daj.

Major headache (with all the different ways coding logic can be done) to educate us !

If you really feel the need, I would suggest JavaScript as,

It is not server dependent, and excluding external calls can 'simply' be checked on ones own PC without to-ing and fro-ing on a remote host.

Thanks David,

Great article. As a newbie, the <div> tag was a bit of a black hole for me.
