2 cumulus on 1 webpage

I do have two different cumulus systems in different areas and want to put the results on one webpage.

Is there any Howto#s for this situation?

You couldn't do it with a simple html web page. You would have to have a page which read the data from a separate file, using PHP or javascript etc. Each copy of Cumulus would have to upload a file which the script would then read.

Thanks Steve for your quick response. Does it mean it would be possible to use a html webpage wich is connected ( I hope I do use the right wording) to two different cumuluswebtags.php files wich can be uploaded to my host??

If yes is there any howto about the inclusion of cumuluswebtags.php into html.

That's how I do it on my status pages (the bottom part of the page). But both Cumulus websites are hosted on the same server, just in seperate directories.

I can only give you theory, because I haven't actually done any of this myself, but I imagine you would do it as for a single file - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Php_webtags - but you would have two differently named web tag files, and in the second one you would rename all of the variables so as not to clash with the first set.

This looks good for me and if I am corrct and understand Steves answer as well it should be possible by using two different cumuluswebtag.phps and renaming variables.

Synewave I am impressed by your webpages especially the Le Hamel Weathercam page. I am trying to include a webcam and different buttons to move the camera on the page. You have exactly this system on your page.
If I may ask, is it possible to get the script from this part??

No. I do have a panasonic BLC 31 camera and two wireles IP PTZ cameras from Shenzen wich ork excellent but only in IE Explorer.

I think the camera movement code is specific to the make of the camera.

The way I found out the code is browse to the local ip address of your camera which should bring up the manufacturers webpage from the webserver built in to the camera. Then browse the source of that page and identify the code for each button.

to move the camera right for example.

But your camera may use a different port number, folder name, and cgi filename etc.

This should really be in the webcam thread now.
