Editing records
Whilst re-positioning my sensors this afternoon I disturbed the rain sensor. As a result, it's now reporting several mm of rain today when there were in fact none. What's the best way to correct this, in the WS itself and/or Cumulus? Similarly, when I tweak the settings to correct the relative pressures, I assume I'll have a sudden step-change. Can I apply a correction to historic data? I don't mind writing some code to modify datafiles if that's the way to do it.

Re: Editing records
Best to edit the Cumulus files, I think (with Cumulus stopped). To remove the rainfall, you'll need to edit Today.ini, which has a 'Start=' figure, which is the start of day total, on which Cumulus bases today's total. You'll need to tweak that figure to match the current total (which you can find in the Dec08log.txt file (format in the Help), and you'll also need to edit that file to correct the pressure figures. There are others here far more expert than I at editing Cumulus data files, it's not something I ever need to do.

Re: Editing records
By the way, I forgot to ask: do the datafiles have to reside under the program folder, or can they be stored elsewhere with a suitable entry in the .ini file or something?

Re: Editing records
They have to be in the program folder.
