Re: Maplin have yet another offer
I think that code number was the one with the radio controlled clock but there appears to be another difference if their spec is right
. Most likely a mistake I should think. Rain resolution is usually 0.3mm.Rain Resolution 0.1mm

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.

I asked Maplin tech. support. They told me this unit does not have the clock and also they acknowledged the rain resolution is a mistake, should be 0.3mmGina wrote:I think that code number was the one with the radio controlled clock but there appears to be another difference if their spec is right. Re: Maplin have yet another offer
Hi am new to this forum. Have been looking at setting up weather station for a while now, and being a regular visitor to Maplin just couldn't resist their offer. Got weather station home and had it together in about an hour, tried Easyweather then downloaded Cumulus and tried that. I have my station connected to my home server as that runs 24/7. Am at present looking into putting station on the web, just need to work out if it would be easier to have external hosting or if possible to host from home server. Would prefer home server but there seem to be a number of problems involved in doing so.

Hi mace i am also new here and wanted to get my station online asap, i was amazed by the offer from David that can be found here https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3745
It was an absolute pleasure and within 10 minutes my station was publishing data online for all to see.

Hi CaLi, thanks for that. After searching the internet and seeing the problems people have with trying to host on Windows Home Server I am reaching the concusion that Davids kind offer might just be the way to go.
