Can anyone recommend a good web hosting service for a personal site / weather site?

Yes, as Neil said, contact David, hosting is free and he gives an excellent service.

Thanks all. Since asking the question I've had much fun using XAMPP to set up a webserver on the same laptop as Cumulus. Apart from a minor issue of security I think I've a setup that would work. Should it all fall apart I shall certainly drop David a line.

Paul, thanks for the welcome. I'm quite surprised by the number of people with a PWS. I fill in a nice gap in weather underground when I've everything hooked up. As I have only the one rather aging laptop the weather station is offline most of the time, but should I get a 'laptop upgrade' (i.e. a new model) then might leave it on all the time.
