Your right, I just tested it myself. I've added an instruction that I might have to remove since Chrome doesn't support onMouseOver / onMouseOut that I am using.

I get this when viewing your website in a flock browser (firefox engine). Works OK in IE8

Mmmm, looks as though you are running in a higher text resolution and the font spills out of the top frame where the banner for my website resides.

Have to experiment with this a little.

Almost there.
I do scroll the size up and down in Flock and yes, larger fonts. Scrolling the sizes down in Flock doesn't fix the problem.

Another suggestion is to make the bars on the left the same width as the picture....just to look nice

Mouseover works fine.

Don't a bit of work following your suggestions. I made the top frame a little higher to see if your browser will accomodate the scrolling banner. When I try it in FF I seem to be able to increase the font and not have any issues.

See what you think of my changes and check out the site in Flock for me please.

Well, I think I have stopped fiddling with the scrolling banner (marquee) now. Take a look Feedback welcomed.

Have added some a script called marquee.jquery.js (Silky Smooth Marquee)that I found. It smooths the scrolling (when compared to the usual <marquee> tag) plus enables the scrolling to be paused in Chrome as well as IE and FF with a feature that enables users to drag the banner left or right with the mouse when it is paused.

Another issue that annoyed me was the highlighting that occured when using the mouse to drag the banner, even with this script. To overcome this annoyance, I found some CSS that hides highlighting in a <div> .

Thanks to Super-T and hills for there input and ideas and to daj for the original wconsole.js that I used and adapted to extract the data from realtime.txt. Oh, an a special thanks to Steve for his continued development of Cumulus 1.9.1 with its added features.

Might add a bit more data later, especially as it becomes available with further releases of 1.9.1.

Interesting. It looks Ok in my IE8, but then I am running it at 1440 x 900. What resolution are you using?

It looks pretty much the same to me (i.e. very good) in Chrome, FF and IE8. Screen 1680x1050.

Plus your font-sizes are declared as 120%, might be better if you use an 'absolute' size. (px, em, etc.)

Well, I tired of the scrolling marquee that I put on my page a few weeks ago now. I tend to fiddle with my site layout and menus a bit, and have now replaced the marquee with a title banner that updates data every 15 sec (assuming realtime has something knew to offer). It's the same data as the marquee but always there in the same spot on the screen.
