Exterior humidity prob.

Post by Rod Tibbs »

I have now just about got my new weather station settled down but I have noticed that exterior humidity has been giving a ruler straight line and has sat on 99% for over two weeks without budging. The interior humidity readout is working well and always shows slight ripples where it is continually updated.

It is becoming obvious the exterior readout is just not working from checking it against stations in my region. Does anyone have any ideas? Cumulus is clearly taking its cue from the Easyweather touch screen because that has been giving 99% for the past fortnight as well.

Is there any way I can check this? And does anyone know which exterior instrument actually provides the humidity reading and how it actually works?

Thanks

Rod

I concur. The outdoor humidity sensor is in the transmitter unit. Either the humidity sensor or the transmitter is faulty (or it could even be the console). In any event the station is faulty as should be returned.

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.
