At the moment the Met Office is giving pressure over almost the entire shouthern end of the country as 1032Mb. Cumulus is giving me a reading of 1023Mb.
If I assume that the Met Office is right and I am wrong, how do I adjust Cumulus to read the correct figure> Under Calibration/Pressure I have got 0.00 at the moment. Is this the spot where I do the correction and if so what figure should I put in to get the end results?
With thanks for any help,
Rod

Re: Pressure adjustment
Shut down Cumulus, start Easy Weather and use the Setup under System to put in the actual relative pressure. The logger will then show the correct data for Cumulus to process.

Re: Pressure adjustment
You don't actually need to run EW for this; you can set it on the console.

True - I just find it easier than trying to do it via the console, makes my fingers soresteve wrote:You don't actually need to run EW for this; you can set it on the console.

Re: Pressure adjustment
It's fiddly, that's for sure! But I'm not sure running EW isn't even fiddlier (if that's a word).

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.

I think fiddlier may be a word but.... it is now!Gina wrote:It's fiddly, that's for sure! But I'm not sure running EW isn't even fiddlier (if that's a word).
When setting up you need EW for the log interval so we just need to remind people to do the relative pressure at the same time.
