Cant download data fromn wh1081pc

Good evening everyone.
Just wondering if anyone could assist me with an issue that I am having with my brand new FineOffset clone (wh-1081pc).
The system works fine except that I can't download any data off it.
Using EasyWeather, it shows it is connected but nothing downloads.
Using Cumulus it sits on Downloading data but doesn't get anywhere.
I have tried this on two different machines (Windows 2008 server and Windows 7) - having full admin rights, but it refuses to download.
I have also tried different usb leads.

Just stops on this line and doesn't get a response.
Any ideas?

You could try installing Cumulus outside Program Files as recommended, but I think that's unlikely to fix this particular problem, particularly as EW can't talk to the station either. It does seem to point to a faulty station. You could try giving it a complete reset - remove batteries and USB cable and leave it for a short while.

Be prepared to do some soldering or send it back if it's under warranty, sounds like a dodgy USB socket, not an unusual fault. Try the easy stuff for a start, do a reset, try a new lead.
EW is useful because you are able to do memory resets and TBH it's not that bad
