WH1090 USB Type

Post by sch »

Hi all,
looking forward to getting the software installed and talking to my weather station (fingers crossed).

I've just ordered a WH1090 and am expecting it in the next couple of days - however, if anyone has the WH1090 (or even a WH1080 since I believe they're the same) who could confirm what length of USB cable typically comes with the station and what type of connector it is i.e. normal square, micro, mini?

Thanks

I can't honestly recall whether or not mine came with a usb lead, but if it did it must have been pretty short (less than 1 metre) as i ended up ordering a 5 metre cable to enable the display screen to sit on a bookcase and a cable run (discreetly) to my laptop!

Mine came with a 1 meter type A at both ends. Why do you need to order?
