Realtime gauges v1.0.0.5 - Customise or Enhancement

Post by GreenwoJ »

Hiya,

I’ve only recently started running Realtime Gauges on my website (http://www.greenwood-it.co.uk/Weather/gauges.htm) but have a couple of questions, which may lead to enhancement requests! :D

Q1) Can I disable the graph on the bottom section of the display? It only really makes any sense if you leave the page running all day. Or can it be configured to show the last ‘x’ number of hours?

Q2) When the gauges are shown full screen (or in an IFRAME) can the output be scaled to take full advantage of the screen available? Currently if I run the gauges full screen I have very large bands of white on each side. :(

I’d love to run just the gauges and bars (no graph) on an old Tablet PC nailed to the wall instead of the current brass barometer :o

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I don't really use CRT, but do you mean like this?

I adjusted the CumulusRealtime.html and changed the height of the object to chop/hide the graph

<object data="data:application/x-silverlight," type="application/x-silverlight-2" width="100%" height="610px">

I do not believe the gauges are scaleable, but Steve can confirm that

Currently the only things you can configure are those things in the xml config file, as described in the documentation. At some far distant future time the Silverlight application will come to the top of the heap again and I'll do some more work on it.

Hiya,

No problem Steve, I'll stick with my hack of setting the browser magnification to 173% to get a full screen display :lol:

v2 is definately a higher priority ;)
