I think most WYSIWYG type editors will tend to do the conversion. On the rare occasions where I actually do this sort of stuff, I use MS Expression Web, but I'm careful to only do edits in the 'code' window. Or for simple changes I just use notepad++

Lyle, for the past 4-5 years, I have been using (with great satisfaction) the Blumentals Software WeBuilder - it is not a free editor ($49.85 for the personal license) but it is also a lot less expansive than Dreamweaver... ;)

WeBuilder is not a WYSIWYG type of editor in the same way as Dreamweaver, it is code editor, but, with the click of a button, one can see the results of the page being worked on in a second window or directly in one's favourite browser...

Hi Ray,

Thankyou for your input.. I shall Google it and have a look. Pitty I didn't know this before DreamWeaver, luck my copy was cheap because it was an older version :D, I got it to learn more about web developing.. that kinda went down the drain

Thanks again
