Guages not appearing on webpage

Post by idahoman73 »

Hi I have Cumulus up and running but the gauges do not appear on my web page http://www.oxenfordweather.com I did read something about the boxover.js and dashboard.js file to be uploaded, I do have them in a dbimages folder but there is two folders named dbimages, one is empty and the other has all the gauges in it do these have to be put manually into the image folder? if anyone has any ideas that would be great.
Cheers Jason.

I don't understand what you mean when you say you have two dbimages folders. You just need to copy (using ftp) the dbimages folder and all of its contents from the webfiles folder where you've installed Cumulus, to your web site. Your ftp client should allow you to drag the folder and it will copy all of the contents along with it.

It doesn't look like your dbimages folder and/or contents are there; http://www.oxenfordweather.com/dbimages/barometer2.gif gives a 404 'not found', for example.

Are you sure you've put it in the right place? It needs to be at the same level as the 'images' folder that contains the graph images.

I mean that it has to be in the same place as the images folder.

What I notice is that in the image folder it goes down as image
file
image
file and so on.
But in the dbimage folder it juast goes image
image
image
does this mean it is missing some kind of script or something ?

The setup required is described in the help under 'Creating a web site/Setting up your web site'. The structure that you need to achieve is as follows:

weatherstyle.css
wz_jsgraphics.js
CumulusRealtime.swf
images (folder)
----picture.jpg
dbimages (folder)
----barometer2.gif
----boxover.js
----cloudbase.gif
----dashboard.js
----Falling.gif
----humidl.gif
----humids.gif
----rainl10.gif
----rainl100.gif
----rainl200.gif
----rainl400.gif
----rains10.gif
----rains100.gif
----rains200.gif
----rains400.gif
----Rising.gif
----Steady.gif
----thermol.gif
----thermos.gif
----windrose10.gif
----windrose120.gif
----windrose20.gif
----windrose40.gif
----windrose80.gif

You appear to have done the setup as far as the images folder (so http://www.oxenfordweather.com/images/picture.jpg is present) but not the dbimages folder and/or its contents, so http://www.oxenfordweather.com/dbimages/barometer2.gif, for example, is not present.
