post site upgrade problem

Steve
Since the upgrade of the forum software my 'view unread posts' is always there. Previously it would change to 'you have no unread posts' after I had read everything. I wonder if an index needs rebuilt?
Also, when in the 'view unread posts' there used to be a 'mark forum read' on the left but that has gone. In now only appears in the Board Index page
and....Any plans to add Themes?

I think that was an additional facility requiring hacks to the PHP. But it might be an index thing... I'll check.

ditto, probably.

The problem with that is that any hacks or mods would need applying to each theme.

I've found and installed the mod which changes the link to "you have no unread posts"; it only works on the index page.

I've just noticed that each post now has a 'mark post as unread' link, which I will definitely find useful. I've no idea where it came from - that latest mod, I guess.

You're assuming that I have the faintest idea what I'm doing, I hadn't even seen the 'Top' link. My wife is at this very moment setting up her own forum and is asking me questions which mean nothing to me!

And I offered you my assistance...
I do hope your wife will think twice about installing phpBB as I find the choice of its MODs quite limited and many with very poor installation and operation instructions...
