FTP problem

Post by robynfali »

I am getting an intermittent ftp problem

http://www.h-i-r.org.uk/weather/cumulusstatus.php

although my realtime extras wont upload at all for some reason as you can see from the system status, have even tried on DAJ's server, but getting the same problem, so it must be a local one, any help is appreciated

You're getting timeouts; no response from the server for 30 seconds.

21:34:53:968 03270A60 TriggerDataSent 988
21:35:23:781 ! Aborting
21:35:23:781 FTP Session Closed

You also had a failed WU upload at about the same time, so a problem with your broadband connection somewhere.

I fail LOADS of WU updates lol, for some reason or other, always happens, this tho is very strange.

I have checked the broadband, solid as a rock, but the computer is on wireless, so I am wondering if that is falling over for some reason, there are no new wireless networks in the area, but something is causing it

but WHY on earth the realtimeextras? it has updated everything else again now (as said, intermittent), but that is still down?

Does restarting Cumulus fix the problem for a while?

In that case, the file to look at is realtimeftplog.txt.

I had to delete it, and restart due to the file eing 7mb in size, so here it is over the last few minutes of running, again no update on the website realtime, nor the desktop cumulus gadget

There are no errors in there, and realtime.txt on your web site is up to date.

But the one that you're actually uploading - http://www.h-i-r.org.uk/realtime.txt - says 14:22.
