Re: help webcam setup
yep, just create a new directory on your website and go into the "ftp" section of yawcam and tell it to ftp the images to that directory.
Alternatively you can get yawcam to save it to a local file and get Cumulus to ftp it to your website.

Re: help webcam setup
Its been so long since I set it up I had to check. In the Cumulus screen select "configuration", then "internet". Select the "files" tab on the top and just enter your file details. For images I ticked the "binary" and the "FTP" check boxes on the local and remote filename line.
I currently use yawcam to ftp my files which you activate by selecting "setting" - "edit settings", then select "ftp" on the left hand side of the screen and just fill out the details on that screen. I use this as I have an array of 150 images and yawcam automatically calls the latest image webcam0 and increases the numbers on all of the other images. This is how I do the "replay 24 hour" on my website.

Re: help webcam setup
cheers, Phil,
Ill have a go, I think Ive got the stream working. As I see it Yawcam acts as a sort of video server and Cumulus just provides a link via an IP address back to my local machine.
Im loving your website and how you have set it up. Im a long way from making mine anything close!
maybe you could check my webcam link and see if you see anything?#
Cheers again

Re: help webcam setup
Unfortunately I can't get to your webcam site, have you forwarded ports 8888 and 8081 for both TCP and UDP though your router?
I can see the rest of your site though, looks good!!

Re: help webcam setup
thanks Gina, i put the http url into cumulus and not the stream url...its dark now so have set the scheduler to kick in am. will see what happens then!
Id like to get it working on timelapse, so it updates every 60 seconds rather than always on....
of course i could be missing something as im new to the webpage editing stuff.
thanks again
