Cumulus not shaking hands for Ambient Weather WS-1080

I bought a new station in October, installed it, installed EasyWeather and downloaded Cumulus.
All installed well and I could watch my weather in Florida when I returned to Canada by going to
WeatherUnderground. On returning to Florida in December, there were Microsoft updates to be
installed and the system had to be re-started. In hind sight, I may not have closed Cumulus before
I hit the re-start button in the Windows panel. When the system came back up, Cumulus would
no longer receive data from my Ambient Weather WS-1080. I have un-installed both EasyWeather
and Cumulus, deleated all files and re-installed both but although EasyWeather is receiving and
archiving data, I still get no data in Cumulus and therefore no sending of data to WeatherUnderground.

Any help would be appreciated as I will be heading back to the great white north on Wednesday.

Please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

I thought you could not run Easy Weather and Cumulus at the sane time!

Steve - I am not very computer literate and as such I do not understand your instruction to "zip up
the diag file and install"

As to the second answer, I was of the same opinion and tried to just have Cumulus and no EasyWeather
but I still was not getting the data to Cumulus

In your Cumulus folder is a folder called Diags, right click and select ‘Add to zip’, this will create a file called Diags.zip, post this file to the forum for Steve to look at.

It looks like there are some files missing from your Cumulus folder, not sure if this is the problem as I am no expert.
The files are, today.ini & alltime.ini there should be copies of these in the Backup folder so copy the most recent file into the cumulus folder, and just check to see if you can spot any others missing as well. Do this while Cumulus not running, If that doesn't work you will have to wait for Steve's input tomorrow.

Regards

Thank you Tau Bootis for your help.
I went to the backup file in Cumulus but there were only 4 folders and all are empty.
This gets stranger all the time.

How about doing a system restore to the point before the updates and see if it runs from there again, just a thought.

Your pressure settings are badly off, you need to set your relative pressure correctly on the console.
1/2/2011 17:41:43.293 : EWUSB: Read pressure values: rel=692.3 abs=1012.8 offset =-320.5
This causes Cumulus to discard all of your data as it believes it is corrupt. In the latest code I've done changes to make it more obvious what the problem is when this occurs.

Thank you Steve. I did as you directed and corrected the pressure on the console and all is working as
expected. I have confirmed that the data is being uploaded and displayed at WeatherUnderground.
If it is of interest, I am KFLPINER1 in Pine Ridge Florida in zip code 34465.

A thank you to Mark for his assistance in finding the data to provide to Steve.

A thank you also to blackpoolguy for his suggestion. I did try the go-back to a date before the loss but it
didn't help (now obvious with the solution Steve provided involving the console setting, not software on the computer)

All of you have been great
