Hi All.

Just wondering if this is normal ? or if something is wrong? As you can see there are lots of spikes

Perfectly normal for a Fine Offset. Looks like you turned on the computer a bit after 7, so the graph is plotted at 1 minute intervals. The overnight 'spikes' don't show as they are being logged at longer intervals and become smoothed.

I have noticed that when a cold front passes me that sometimes I see a sudden drop in pressure with a great increase of wind speed (Also temp & humidity changes). The pressure then again rises and settles out.

Something i'd figure an aneroid barometer wouldn't react quickly to, but an electronic pressure sensor would.

As for the sudden drop, did you have a front pass you just after 7am? What are the other observations at the same time?

Wonderful these stations are, learning more about weather phenomena each day :D

Im learning and this morning the station reported rain later, looking outside you wouldn't have thought it possible. Then this afternoon.......boom massive storm and 30mm of rain. I'm glad my system appears to be working as I put it on a new pole to raise it, and also covered the rain gauge with a mesh to keep spiders out!
