Like others did today, I checked the This Year (for 2010) and surprisingly found the Pressure Lowest was 0.00 on day 24/06. Checked the Jun10Log and found only a few entries for that day, and a blank line so removed it. (I have been keeping a manual log for any additions and significant issues that has occured and I have a note for that day that I had found Cumulus not responding since the day before and restarted at 8:00 pm on Jun 24 and then appeared to be okay, but I must not have checked the data integrity and likely edited the Alltime Lowest pressure). Also in dayfile found June 24 to have invalid data as below.
23/06/10,17.7,175,12:12,16.1,05:09,28.8,12:03,1013.52,03:53,1016.02,06:12,0.0,00:00,0.0,24.3,65.4
24/06/10,11.3,180,19:30,0.0,00:00,22.4,19:01,0.00,00:00,1015.62,23:27,0.0,00:00,2.4,18.5,0.9
25/06/10,11.3,13,09:30,13.8,05:02,27.3,16:07,1014.16,22:46,1018.73,09:23,0.0,00:00,0.0,20.0,11.6
Will deleting June 24 in dayfile cause any problem or should I try to get corrected data put in for this day? (can likely use WL data file to determine reasonable data for that day)
Paul

Re: 2010 data error
It won't cause Cumulus any problems, it will just mean that day's highs and lows aren't taken into account on the 'This Year' etc summaries. Ideally you would want to create an entry for it, given that you have access to an alternative source for the data.PaulMy wrote:Will deleting June 24 in dayfile cause any problem

Re: 2010 data error
Thanks Steve, have reestablished.
I had been visually scanning the monthly data files for any obvious errors and will now do the same for dayfile, and also whenever there is an extraordinary restart. Until recently didn't even realize that the dayfile was the total historical days' high, lows. etc. and until others started posting their This Year data erarlier today hadn't even thought about using that information. A continuous learning experience and challenges, but that is what a hobby is about... Again, thank you Steve for your help and for Cumulus.
