<#wdir> tag question

<#wdir> - Is this the average wind bearing as a compass point for the last 10 minutes or for the whole day?

Similarly, is this what appears as "Bearing" (the compass direction part) under the recent extremes section of cumulus or is it the <#bearingTM>/<#bearingYM> thingies?

<#wdir> is the last 10 minute average bearing as a compass point, <#avgbearing> in degrees.

The Recent Extremes is the direction of the todays/yesterdays maximum gust, so yes the "<#bearingTM>/<#bearingYM> thingies"

OK, so is there actually a value for the average direction of wind for a given day?

No. There's an enhancement request for this.

Ah, the tag names made me think it was different, maybe it should be #wdir should be #avgbearingcompasspoint or something :)
