Re: usb and url
You will need to install some software to get USB webcam images to the web. Have a look at Yawcam or FWINK, search on Google.

Re: usb and url
You'll need web hosting that permits FTP as well.

Re: usb and url
Bill, you've got the webcam link pointing to localhost - http://127.0.0.1/broadcasting/broadcast.html - so only you can see it.

Re: usb and url
Steve,
I'm using Digi-Watcher: webcam software. Do you have any idea where I can find the proper
address? Sorry I'm not as up to speed as others but I'm new at this.
Thanks
Bill

Re: usb and url
Hi Bill,
The external address to access your webcam page is http://www.wgift.net/broadcast.html
I've just looked at that page and I can see snow!
Put this address in Cumulus in the webcam address section in setup, instead of the address you have at the moment. Do a Cumulus webupdate from the file menu and the menu on your pages should reflect the correct address.

Re: usb and url
Hey all, Thanks for the observations.
What I did was add a file page to my website and ftp the webcam to there. Then I used that link in Cumulus. I'll try the link what Steve gave me tommorow. As for not I have the cam off as it's dark and all you can see is black. BTW all were right , snow and trees, need to resite the cam to the sky...a little upward should do the trick.
Thanks again.
Happy new year
Bill
