Problem Setting Location

Post by Mike_Rawlins »

Hi,

I've just downloaded Cumulus 1.9.0 so I can use it with my New Christmas present :)

Everything is working fine, I'm tweeting, updating to the web and sending data to PWS & WeatherUnderground, the only problem I have is I can't set my location longitude, I have been on google maps and got the Lat / Long co-ordinates and converted them them to deg min sec which gives me:

Lat 52° 58' 00" N
Long -2° 8' 00" E

I have got the Lat entered no problem but trying to put the Long in it always seems to revert to 1 51 59 W. I have entered the Long as E & W as -2 and -02 but nothing seems to be working with it, I'm probably being really blonde but anyone got any idea what I am doing wrong?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software today as well.

You seem to be trying to combine two different methods of specifying your location. -2 degrees is West of Greenwich, so you need to change the 'E' to a 'W' and just use positive 2 degrees.
