Twitter STOP updating

My Twitter account has stop being updated, since 02:17 EST, Dec 25,2010. Nothing as been change in my Cumulus Internet Setting. When I log on my Twitter account as my Cumulus Internet Setting, my messages do work. Is there and issue in the software? Does the Cumulus Twitter Output goes directly to Twitter server? FTP, WEB, APRS, PWS and WU seem to update Ok.

These lines say that Cumulus has never updated Twitter for you:
OauthToken=unknown
OauthTokenSecret=unknown
It's impossible for it to update Twitter without first obtaining those two tokens. Could you please send me the latest file from your diags folder? It's probably best not to post it here, it might contain your tokens, send it to me by PM.

ISSUE RESOLVED:
I stop Cumulus and tried to re-open. I kept receiving a fast error message. I went to the "Task Manager" and found an instance of Cumulus working in background. I stoped this process and tried to restart Cumulus. Every thing seem to be OK for now; in Cumulus.ini, Twitter,s keys (OauthToken and OauthTokenSecret) are back again.

Hi guy's also got same problem here twitter wont update, wiped my laptop drastic meassure but still wont update anyone help please

Has it ever worked and now stopped, or have you not yet had it working?
If you turn on the debug log and wait until Twitter should have been updated, then zip up the diags folder and the debug.log and send them to me by PM - don't post here as they may contain your 'secret' Twitter information - I'll see if I can see anything.

name and password are good.

I was just replying to your other post in the thread you started and you deleted it! It's better to start your own thread for your own problem anyway.
But, to basically repeat what I've already said in this thread:
Has it stopped working or have you not got it to update Twitter at all yet?
If you turn on the debug log, then extra information about the responses from Twitter may get logged to the diags files.

Just wondered if it was possible to add the Cumulus zambretti or Davis forecast when Cumulus tweets? Or an 'enable/disable' option for it.

You can create any Twitter message you want, within the limits of Twitter and the available web tags:

I have created a text file called 'twitter' and just put the tag <#cumulusforecast> inside of it to test it, but it doesn't seem to tweet it.

It did work once, and then twitter.txt got deleted.

But there is no code anywhere in Cumulus to delete the twitter.txt file.

Seems to have sorted itself out now.
But since i added twitter.txt, the
°C characters show up as
°C on my mobile app. If i remove the twitter.txt, it shows
°C fine.
This is what i have in the file.

Cumulus does the required HTML encoding on certain characters - like the degree symbol - in web tags, so it does the same for twitter.txt. Twitter seems happy with this, and it seems to get displayed correctly in desktop browsers.
You could try replacing <#tempunit> with °C in your twitter.txt, and seeing if your mobile app is happier with that.

All,
Anyone else still having problems with Twitter. Mine stopped 2 days ago, I then redid passwords etc on Cumulus/Twitter etc, restarted it all and it worked for 3 hours/updates and has stopped again. There is nothing obvious, clock on PC and Server OK, internet connection Ok, etc.

Yes, mine seems to have stopped two days ago too. I'll investigate.
