mind you, be honest, its been a long time coming, the Aussies do have a bloody good team, just wish our country would put more into its sports foundations, we might have more of this luck more often!

Re: Trace amounts of rain
I think our selectors have a lot to answer for Rob.
In saying that I take nothing away from the English team, they clearly performed well.
Lets see if we can win the next test to have a 2 all for the series.

Hmm, i think that might be too much to ask for mate, we need a lot of money put into sports in the UK, starting at a school age to be honest, well in my opinion anyway

Cricket is cricket. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't win, but no-one really loses, do they?
Serowe,
I have a policy of trying not to open my mouth until - (a)I'm sure I am not going to offend anybody, especially those who's knowledge and expertise have been beneficial to me, and (b)I'm reasonably sure that what I say isn't going to make me look like a complete git. (nothing to do with knowing what I'm talking about, another issue altogether)
....now, let's all just 'kiss and make up' and get on with enjoying our hobby which is, after all, what this forum is all about.

Re: Trace amounts of rain
This is the problem with him; he really seems to believe what he's said here. I have to assume so, as has so rudely told me this on a number of occasions. He just can't see that it's him and his rude, arrogant, pompous, illogical attitude that I object to. Lots of people question my decisions, and lots of people ask 'tough questions', and when it's done in a reasonable manner, I have no problem with it.Synewave wrote:NOPE, it's just YOU.serowe wrote:And I mistakenly thought steve was an adult but as he has so repeatedly shown whenever anyone qustions a decision or asks a tough question, he spits the dummy and goes off into his 'I'm going to cry and go off and sulk' attitude.
It's quite hilarious that he accuses me of 'spitting the dummy' after his post a couple of days ago objecting to people picking holes in his request, and then poking fun at other people's weather stations. In all the years that I've been doing this, I've not yet had to ban anyone. I'm very close to doing that now, I don't think I (or any other forums users) should have to put up with such a nasty, hypocritical individual here.
Happy New Year, everyone!
Steve

Re: Trace amounts of rain
Thinking about it, it's probably best if this thread doesn't go any further...
