meet spykee

This is vaguely webcam related, but I'm going to tell you about it anyway. We got my son a spykee for Xmas. You can check them out here: http://www.spykeeworld.com/spykee/UK/index.html

Basically it is a mechano robot that is controlled by a PC over wifi and you can drive him around the house via a console where you see what he sees. I haven't set it up yet, but you can control him over the internet. This means from work I can start him up and go for a walk around the house seeing what's going on in each room.

I'm just blown away by this functionality!!

My son told me about the AR helicopter thing, and I must say its a very tempting buy, the only problem is, the 12 minute battery life, seems kinda short amount of time
