Yearly Rain reading wrong.....

HI , I have just dowloaed and installed ver 1.9 also retrieved my previous 2 years of data ,everything is OK except my annual rainfall reading it has 1000 mm added to the reading displayed. is there any way of correcting this, all other data is correct ie. monthly, daily,rate and year to date except it has 1000 mm added to it. It has worked fine for almost 2 years. One interesting thing is, it is almost double the correct reading except for the fact that it has the 1000mm added to what is displayed.

I don't understand what you mean by this. Did you not just install the new version to the same place as the previous version?

The monthly and yearly totals are calculated from the daily totals in dayfile.txt. If your totals for today and this month are correct but your total for this year is wrong, that suggest a problem with one or more of the daily totals in dayfile.txt from before December.

I assume you haven't configured a 'year to date' value in the station settings?

Hi Steve, all fixed I had done as you suggested and put the current year to date rainfall in the station settings screen, I just deleted that figure and re ran the program and all is now correct.

In a very wet Victoria AU, it has been around 15-16" for the last 14 years of drought, normal used to be 24" but this year only need another 4.1 mm to make a metre this year.
