Graphs Period not working correctly with v 1.9.0

Post by SirJohn »

Hi, I have a little problem with the period of the graphs. I have set it to 48h. But the graphs shows a longer period. If I start Cumulus v1.9.0 Build 958, the Graphs of the internet site shows the last 48h. From now, the start time of the graph persists at this time. after two days, the graph shows the last 96h.
At the moment I have installed only the temperature and pressure sensors.
To show the correct period again, I must restart cumulus.

Does anyone know, how to correct this behavior?

And I have one more question. Does anyone know, where I can find a RS232 protocol description for the WMR 928 NX? I will made a little Delphi or C# application for my private use to send realtime data to my mobile phone. If cumulus works with a virtual com port, provided by a com server, I can split the signal to more than one application. It seems, that the station is only sending data, without receiving something.

Does it stop when it gets to 96 hours? I've just tried the 48 hr setting it and it seems to be working OK, so I don't know why it isn't working for you. I would only expect the graphs to be working correctly for which you actually have sensors connected - are they all doing the same? Could you provide a link to your web site, please?

The WMR928 protocol is described here: http://www.netsky.org/WMR/Protocol.htm

Thanks for the answer.
No, it doesn't stop. I have tried it to roundabout one week of time. The starting time of the graph persists at the same time. The end time is the actual time.
I have only watched on the graphs with sensors. I see, the other graphs have another behavior. They show 48h of time, but the end time is the time, where I started cumulus.
I will send the Link over private message to you, because it runs on my home pc, until i have installed all sensors.

Thanks for the link :)
And thanks for your help.

I've found the bug; I have a line of code in the wrong place, so I only recalculate the graphs start date and time if a wind reading has been received. So normally no-one sees this, as there will usually have been a wind reading. I'll fix it in the next build.

Ok, thanks. I like this Software. It is simple to use and there is everything available i need (except simple realtime data automatically updated on my mobile. But now I have a little something to play ;) )

If the snow is gone and it is dry outside, I will install the other sensors, like wind and rain...

I'm afraid I know nothing about programming mobiles, but there are a few apps for mobiles that Cumulus users have developed.
