Had this error pop up twice in the last few minutes, never saw it before.
Both times I'm assuming that it was trying to write the new cold record being recorded, temp has dropped
about 5 deg in the last 10 mins or so, down to 12 F right now, looking for a low of 5 tonight.
Attached is the .elf file cumulus created.

Re: Error writing alltime.ini
This is usually caused by some other process having the file open so Cumulus can not write to it.
I see you have Avast anti-virus and also Memeo Backup running at the time -- any chance either of these was scanning or backing up?

Re: Error writing alltime.ini
Avast does do "on demand" scans of processes, but it hasn't been updated in a while, so it's not new.daj wrote:This is usually caused by some other process having the file open so Cumulus can not write to it.

Weird, I looked at the .elf file and Cumulus had been up for 3 days beforehand, and the 2nd error was 6 mins later,
no problems prior to that or since.
Thought maybe something would stand in the error log to Steve or someone else.
P.S. beteljuice... thanks for the tip on my sig.

Re: Error writing alltime.ini
Yes, you've had a new all time record, but something has locked the alltimelog.txt file on one occasion, and the alltime.ini file on the other. Cumulus shouldn't crash when this happens, it should just log an error and carry on, so I'll see if I can do something about that.
