Cannot download cumulussetup.exe! Please help!
A couple of dozen attempts at downloading cumulussetup.exe (v 1.9.0) have all yielded same result when attempt to install: "the setup files are corrupted." Have tried every trick or variation can think of, including disabling security software & enabling cookies. Subsequently downloaded similar sized exe files from CNET, including install guide pdf from Sandaysoft, without problem, but cumulussetup corrupted every time! Running Windows 7 64-bit, dialup internet connection.

I've just downloaded the file myself (using Firefox on Windows 7 x64) and installed from it, so it's definitely OK. I don't know what to suggest.

with a "dialup" connection you say?, it is possible that it could be corrupting the file, but rarely

Erm... bit of an odd issue... maybe you could try downloading it in 'Safe Mode with Networking' ?

I have temporarily placed a copy here ... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/33488/CumulusSetup.exe
Try downloading it - -just in case your ISP/Dial Up link has an issue with the normal server hosting the file

Re: Cannot download cumulussetup.exe! Please help!
To all who replied to my post you have my thanks, but to daj in particular you're a prince! The dropbox idea worked after a couple of trys (ultimately had to right-click on link, then click on open). The download quickly defaulted to projected download time of all my other attempts, but then noted with interest it suddenly increased about 3-4 minutes; speculate something crucial was getting stripped off somewhere along the line, or perhaps some server in the previous path was cutting corners somehow. I initially looked for a mirror site in the US, but found nothing. Whatever, my thanks again to all. To Sandaysoft: Cumulus much more professional appearing (and certainly less bloated) than Ambient VWS software tinkered with. Looking forward to this.
