problem at first launch after installation

Install seemed to go well but the attached bug report is the result of trying to launch product
Thanks for any help...I am new at this!

I'm afraid I don't know what the cause of that is - it's not actually crashing in Cumulus itself. Does it do it every time you try to start it? Do you get past setting your station type etc?

Thanks for looking into this. It does happen every time. I even deleted all the software, downloaded it fresh and reinstalled. Any hints I can tell my IT group that might fix this? I really want to use the software in my classroom and school.

Have you installed to c:/cumulus rather than c:/program files/cumulus

That's worth trying, even on XP. It may be a privilege problem. Other than that, I don't know what to suggest. You could perhaps try the 1.9.1 beta version.
