Crashing in Windows 2003

Post by schooner »

Seems to crash when it tries to generate a graph either in the app or via the web update. Was workign fine but assuming it may be bad data causing the crash perhaps?

It's crashing in the GDI+ DLL. I'm not sure what the status of that DLL is in Windows 2003, but this version runs on Windows Home Server OK, which is based on 2003, so 2003 should be OK. I'll see what I can find out.

Note: it's better to attach files than to copy and paste their contents.

I've just noticed that you're using a very old version of the beta. The first thing to try is to upgrade to the latest build; I'm fixing bugs all the time.

The file you upload was from a month ago:

The latest version produces cumulus.elf files rather than bugreport.txt files - when it crashed, you should have got a pop-up that told you this? See if you can find the .elf file and attach it.

I did a reboot of the PC and it seems to be running ok now. I'll see how it goes.
