High Minimum and Low maximum webtags 191 964

Post by Synewave »

Hi Steve,

Just looking at my This Month/Year page data for Le Hamel in France.

France has just rolled over to Dec 01
This month This Year
High Minimum Temperature -999.0 °C on 01 December 999.0 °C on 21 March
Low Maximum Temperature 999.0 °C on 01 December -500.0 °C on 21 March

The this year figures I was waiting to sort out until the year rolled over to 2011, but the same has now happened to this month change to December. Have just looked at http://www.lalocherie.com/weather/todaytmty.php and Helen has the same problem since the month change.

Hmm .....

I'm guessing that there is no Maxima / Minima data for a month until day 2 has begun

As beteljuice correctly points out, you can't have a highest minimum and lowest maximum until you have had a minimum and maximum, and you can't have those for December until the end of the day.

If you look at the display in Cumulus (View | Highs and Lows | This Month) you should see 'dashes' instead of the default values. I need to change the web tags to do the same...

Paul, your 'this year' problem is a different issue; you have a bad entry in dayfile.txt for 21 March.

Thanks Steve, it all makes sense. I guess seeing 999 figures would be better as --- .

Yes, the 21st March figures, I realise I'll have to edit them. I was saving that job for when I'm over there in a few weeks.
