Re: build 965 compass
Yes, this is the sort of thing I was talking about in the announcement. It makes the colour of your Cumulus main window transparent in the compass image. I've changed the way I save the images (to try to avoid problems beyond my control), and the result is that the speed gauge and the wind rose end up with white square backgrounds, and the compass with the Cumulus window colour background. So to make them all look the same, I've made those colours transparent in each one. I'm not sure there's anything better I can do. If you can't tweak your colours to get around it, I think the only alternative will be to provide an option to turn off the transparency (so the three gauges will appear as described above).

Just to clarify; when I say 'tweak' your colours, I mean just that - I'm not proposing that you completely change your colour scheme, just change one or two of the RGB values to make the colour slightly different but visibly still pretty much the same. I realise this isn't ideal, but I'm not sure what else to do.

The web images are generated from the console images.n9mfk wrote:Hi Steve,

Indeed. It's all just a horrible kludge, and it's one of those things I now regret doing. It would be better if everyone generated their own web images from the raw data (like the javascript gauges).Synewave wrote:The web images are generated from the console images.
However, I may have thought of a slightly better solution to the background colour problem for the next build...
