Have you noticed that the graphs DO actually display in FF. But they appear where your Graphs button is! (as I said earlier)
So it's possibly related to when you put in the code for those new navigation buttons?

Hello .... anybody there
NONE of your MM_ functions exist - therefore they create exceptions when you try to run them !
That means you must be running the validator on the page before Cumulus has processed it - why ?
Er .. well yes. The element name / id 'graphs' is already in use by the page to enable the thumbnail to main swapping - but you have a nav button also with the id 'graphs', which you would be trying to swap if the functions were there.
Edit: I must go for some light refreshment ..... I may be gone sometime (It's a weather joke .. no, really)

Re: Ballina nsw weather V2.0
Which file did you run through the validator? The above errors suggest the trendsT.htm foile and NOT the trends.htm file (notice that all the errors are pointing to web tags BEFORE they have been converted.pacificblue03 wrote:i have 15 errors on validator but im confused how to fix it

Re: Ballina nsw weather V2.0
Others have mentioned the button - but the T files (trendsT.htm, indexT.htm are the Template files and should NEVER be placd on the web site - they are converted by Cumulus to become the actual web site files.
That said though - your trends file has now removed the errant </script> tag which will at least help.

Except you really do need to decide whether you want the first impression to visitors of the Ballina NSW Weather site is weather or astronomy!

Re: Ballina nsw weather V2.0
Use a link - don;t go putting the image on your site - if you do one of the first problems you will have is a caching problem and old images will be shown and the user won;t realise it.
However - this aside - you need to start making some decisions now - just how heavy do you want this page to be? It is already starting to look overloaded (even though you have moved the moon phase you STILL have images as the first thing people see - not weather. Keep in mind - the more images you have the slower the page will start to load for users - Rule No 1 - keep the main page lean and mean.
For how to use or which links to use, have a look at my main weather page http://mtb-images.dyndns.org:1088/weather - Beruaru of Met links now form row 2 of the main menu (for forecasts) and the radar loop link is on the first row

Re: Ballina nsw weather V2.0
hmm you have given me a good thinking session as at the moment we are shaped and the net being so slow my page is taking forever to show perhaps just stick to data on the main page But keep the weather forecast is that ok and the moon

Re: Ballina nsw weather V2.0
If you want to PM me with any thoughts go ahead.
As for being shaped - DL'ing too many TV shows are you
You should change to Optus - they have just dropped the price on most of their plans and increased data allowances eg one plan went from $99 to $69 a month and data from 85G to 500G on the same plan!
