Hi
I'm new to the forum so Hello !
I'm looking into 2 different weather stations, the Maplin N96GY, and the WH1080 sold by Clas Ohlsen. They appear similar to me but cannot find any references to the Maplin N96GY on the forum. Are they both compatible with Cumulus and are there any pros and cons of one over the other?
Thanks
Phil

hi, welcome to the forum

Yes, they are compatible. Any of the Fine Offset (or rebadged as Watson, etc) are compatible if they use the EasyWeather software (supplied with the station).

Got mine a few weeks ago from Maplin in Bristol
If you do not have loads of money for a Davis then its a very good buy
On promotion until 24/12/2010
Order Code: N96GY

Hello and welcome to the forum
I have been running a maplin N96FY for nearly 2 years with very little trouble
i suspect the 2 units are vitually identical
at the price this appears to be a very good buy
assuming both units are virtually the same cumulus will work fine with the station

They're all compatible with Cumulus and manufactured by Fine Offset. There are many rebadged versions of these around. Anything that comes with Easy Weather software will work with Cumulus.
