Cumulus Support

Possiedo una stazione Davis Vantage Pro 2 vorrei usare come software Cumulus ma non riesco a ricevere i miei dati dalla stazione per poi girarli al sito Wunderground...

Is your station USB? Do you get any errors (-32710?) or does nothing at all happen? Please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

Volevo solo delle informazioni per impostare la mia Davis con il software Cumulus...

It's very easy. Run Cumulus and select "Vantage Pro2", "Serial", and enter your COM port number:

Una cosa ma avendoci il software usb clicco su usb...

If you have a USB station, things get complicated. I don't think the USB support in Cumulus works, so you have to use serial.

Roberto, come dice Steve, anche se la tua stazione è USB, imposta Serial per la connessione, e scegli la porta COM che Windows assegna alla stazione. Nel mio caso è la COM3.
Al massimo provale in fila finche non cominci a ricevere i dati dal datalogger!
Non può essere la COM1 o 2, le usb solitamente cominciano da 3 poichè le prime due sono riservate per le seriali, credo.

Roberto, as Steve says, even if your station is USB connected, set the connection as Serial and then choose the COM port number that Windows assigns to your station.
At last, you can try them in order and see which one you start getting the data from.
It cannot be COM1 or 2, USBs usually start from 3 because the first two are reserved for the serial ports (I guess ) .

Have you managed, yet, to establish communications between your Vantage Pro2 console and Cumulus using the Davis WeatherLink USB adaptor (data logger)?

You mentioned that your station was already 'working' with "VWs" - would that be the AmbientWeather Virtual Weather Station software?
