Phase of the moon
Not exactly a critical issue, but I think a minor bug nonetheless, I noticed today my website is reporting "full moon" (correct for my location as of today) but the image is of 1/2 moon (left side dark). The correct image is displayed by the Windows application screen on my computer. I've been rebuilding my site after a bunch of changes, so I'm using Cumulus "out of the box" with no mods right now. (Version 1.9.0 build 951)

Re: Phase of the moon
I would guess that your moon image has been failing to ftp for some time - or perhaps there is an error creating the image. Look in the web/images folder to see how old the image is. You could look in the diags logs at the time of an upload to see if any errors are reported, and if the image is being created, so it's an ftp problem, turn on the ftp logging.

Re: Phase of the moon
As yes, that's got it. I did not realize that the images had to be transferred every time - I just assumed that once they were on the website, the correct one would be used, so I had unchecked "include standard images" after an early forced update to cut down on the amount of information transferred.
I should have known better than to assume - thanks, and sorry about the false alarm.

Re: Phase of the moon
If the moon bitmap is the only image you're using, you might want to consider leaving 'include standard images' turned off, and listing the moon.bmp file on the files tab. Or perhaps using one of the alternative non-Cumulus moon phase displays that a number of people use.
