was fiddling with those for a while and it pushed my website to the entire right hand side i guess its not that important to have the current tab highlited

You might want to add a bit of 'padding-left' (possibly 5-10 pixels) to the lines beginning with:
- Please note data...
- Weather outlook...
- Conditions at...

And to add some 'padding-left' and 'padding-right' (possibly 5-10 pixels) to the line beginning with:
- Hello and welcome...

Adding padding will move the text away from the edges of the blue-colored background - the display will look better...

I noticed something odd (wrong?) in the source code of your main page (index.htm) - there is that '<FONT#C6DEFF>' element just above the 'Hello and welcome to Ballina...' line.

So that you know, the '<font>...</font>' element has been deprecated in HTML 4.0 (as many other elements) in favor of CSS (cascading style sheets).

OK, getting back to the suggested padding for your 3 lines of text, the easy way is to add the padding information within the '<p>...</p>' elements that you have used for those lines. So, here are the suggested modifications: Note: It is highly discouraged to place line break elements (<br />) within the '<p>...</p>' element ... I cannot remember if line break elements (<br />) placed within the '<p>...</p>' element will be validated by the W3C Markup Validation Service!

<p style="padding-left: 10px;">Weather outlook...</p>

Dreamweaver is correct, but the <#temptrend> string will be replaced by a number when Cumulus processes the file. After processing the line will be valid. If you 'really' wanted to, you could probably avoid the error in dreamweaver by replacing the line with..

var temp = "<#temptrend>";

and the script would still work because variables in Javascript are only loosely typed, and the string value will automatically be converted to a number value when you compare the variable against a number in subsequent lines.

Mark, that is an excellent suggestion - most if not all of the variables (or tags) should be placed between single or double quotes. The only variables that do not need to be placed inside quote marks are the 'true/false'.

I know some people are going to tell me that a script will still work when the quotes are not used, but that is sloppy programming...
