Recent extremes Today / Yesterday not updating

The section of my Cumulus display is not updating the recent extremes section for Today and Yesterday. It is still showing a reading in the today column from 2 days ago. Any idea what could be causing this not to update?

It's failing to do the end-of-day rollover. Please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

It looks like you have your PC set to sleep/hibernate:

11/17/2010 20:40:00.824 : Writing todayfile, LastUpdateTime = 11/17/2010 8:40:00 PM raindaystart = 2.37401580810547
11/18/2010 05:48:44.182 : Error!!! Failed to write to USB!

So Cumulus was asleep at the time the midnight rollover should have taken place.

Ok thanks. I changed it to never sleep, only screen saver will go blank. Will see what happens after midnight tonight. thanks for the quick reply and help.

Does Cumulus need to be running for the rollover to take place?

If Cumulus was actually shut down (Not sleep or hibernate) when it is again started the next day and it has downloaded the data from the logger would the rollover then take place?

I always make sure that Cumulus is running when the rollover (9am for me) takes place.

It needs either to be running, or properly shut down (assuming the station has a logger). If shut down, it will do the rollover at start up when it gets to the appropriate point in the logger data download.

I don't see an option in Cumulus to go to sleep or hibernate mode, so I assume it is running all the time as long as my PC does not go to sleep.

Its now 6am the next day and it did infact update the recent extremes section.
