Hi all, newbie here, setup my new WH1081 from Maplins today and seems to work fine apart from the rain gauge saying its rained when it hasnt!
My question is why would the red error light flash when all seems to be okay?
It only started flashing a few minutes ago and the touch display is showing data!
If the signal was lost between sensors and base what would I see / not see.
Many thanks
seems to be a great piece of software

You will get used to FTP errors!
They can happen as Cumulus attempts to upload your website

Re: red error light flashing
It turns off after you click on it. It will flash again if you get another FTP error.miltb120 wrote:The light is no longer flashing so presume it means all ok
I should really make flashing the error light for FTP errors optional. It's just the way the internet works.

Re: red error light flashing
Indeed, a big yes and thumbs up from me. I could push my luck and ask for Cumulus to write the latest error to a webtag. Then I could get Toolbox to email me if a real error occurs that I need to deal with. Clicking the error light clears the webtag

Re: red error light flashing
Good idea. I want to rationalise the logging and error reporting anyway, so that could be part of it.daj wrote: I could push my luck and ask for Cumulus to write the latest error to a webtag.
