Re: WH3080/3081
The oldest data is overwritten by the new so there is no need to worry unless you've not downloaded your data to Cumulus in the last 2 weeks (5 min logging) or 4 weeks (10 min logging) and so on....

Re: WH3080/3081
New data will overwrite the old data, no need to clear it with normal running.
On the offchance that you do need to clear it, touch the pie to light up the screen, then press on the pie for 3 seconds, that will clear the memory

I do have another problem in that you know the memory pie graph on the main unit, what happens if it gets full? Cause i thought once i upload the data on cumulus the memory will go back down to 0 percent but its not?Snupple wrote:Not sure about the wind gust as I haven't got anything to measure that against, but the direction being 180 out I have had no problem.. Sure you got the wind vane aligned to north correctly?

Re: WH3080/3081
Just had a laugh on an Aussie Website!!
$161 (aus) for the item, and a further $70 (aus) for shipping, talk about a bloody RIPOFF company, I KNOW for a fact that the shipping would not cost that much, I ordered 3 torches from Aussie just before christmas (worth MORE than the weather station, and heavier) and the shipping was half as much!!
Just goes to show people monopolise on availability!
Maybe one of our Aussie friends here would be interested in purchasing these things, then shipping them cheaper?

It weighs 1.9kg. According to the Australia Post web site, the cheapest price for a parcel that weight, by air, is $70.40.

Re: WH3080/3081
By Sea?
$37 dollars, and thats what i used, had 3 torches within 14 days!
What that basically boils down to, if you could get 10 people wanting the station, they each pay there price for the station, and chip in $3 postage! instead of $70

Re: WH3080/3081
Do they not still change the postage based on the size of the box as well, as it's pretty big compared to the weight
