set up website

Post by fabienoget »

Hi,
I have done all the procedure to set up my website, it was great, but then, i tried to change the titlles (to translate them in french) with an html editor.
After that they were mistakes on the pages "now" and "gauges".
I have unintalled cumulus, reinstalled it, removed the folders on the site and done it from the begining but..
always the same, u can seee by yourself :

If you reinstall Cumulus (you don't need to uninstall it) it will give you the option of installing the default web files; if you let it do that you can then start again doing your changes.

You're using Vista - which folder did you install Cumulus in?

Those pages (index and gauges) are still ones you have looked at and saved with your editor.

It has changed < to < (and the same for >).

This means Cumulus cannot 'fill-in' the <#webtags> in the xxxxT.htm files.

You need to use a different editor, notepad++ is free and useful.

Use something like notepad++ to edit the indexT.htm, todayT.htm, etc.
