Hi Steve,
It stops to work, stops to receive and send data etc.... but i can't find a bugreport for.
After that i'm not able to shutdown the software regulary but i must kill the task to stop and reopen it.
I'm working with version 1.9.0 build 958. My Station is a PCE-PWS20.
First i tought because i'm working with a usb-ethernet hub it losts connection, but with direct connection to the PC i had the same result.
Thanks for you help.
greets

Re: Cumulus Freezing
Is this for the same problem as in the other thread that you started, or a different problem?

Re: Cumulus Freezing
Hi Steve,
I think i found the problem, the box saying " restart if unplugged " was not marked.
Further the option in the USB root Hub "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" was set.
I'm testing now if this works.
Thanks for all your help.
Claude

Re: Cumulus Freezing
That's just a hack and not the solution to the problem. If the station is disconnected, rarely will restarting Cumulus have any effect.cgoetz wrote:I think i found the problem, the box saying " restart if unplugged " was not marked.
That may well help. You need to make sure you have any power-saving options turned off (except for displays etc).Further the option in the USB root Hub "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" was set.

Re: Cumulus Freezing
Those min and max figures are taken from dayfile.txt; because of the problem of not getting data from the station, you will have a few 'default' entries in there which you need to delete (with Cumulus stopped). Make sure you don't leave blank lines in the file.
