Twitter, multiple stations and programming tweaks

Blown away with my new station that I just got. As a techie, science and computer geek, I am in heaven! Looking forward to buying a second station for my other home in a week.
Spent a few hours testing the more advanced web based settings, as well as the more advance twitter functions and everything works well except I have a few questions:
1) On the twitter outbound feed, is it possible to make more than 1 feed going to one account? I have already mastered the twitter.txt, but I now want to have twitter account ”A” have weather data spaced at an update interval of 20 minutes. On account “B” I want temp, sunrise, sunset running once a day – maybe twice. On the 3rd account “C” I want to monitor indoor and outdoor temp as well as indoor and outdoor humidity to see if my heat or ac are not working and or I have a flood/broken pipes.
2) I have 2 houses. Can 2 stations be on 1 pc without having data issues? Whats the best way to do this? I realize I need to buy a cheap computer for the location I will not be at in order for it to update over the net so I can monitor my unoccupied house.
3) My sensors were installed a cluster on a pole far enough from my house to get accurate wind and rain. In order to get enough light to let the solar panel charge the batteries and get out of the shade of large trees I have a few hours of real direct sun which boost my temp too high. Would making a tin foil cone with some holes reflect enough direct sunlight, yet let on enough ambient air to be more accurate?
4) Can someone steer me to a place that has more instructional tweaks that I can do to make more customized feeds (not through twitter) other than the posts here (which I will read)?

Thanks

Chris

No, I'm afraid not.

I don't think that two Fine Offset stations could be used on the same PC, as they identify themselves in the same way in USB terms. I have no way of actually trying it, though. It may be that once the first station is claimed by one copy of the software, the second copy of the software would only see the other station, and be able to claim that.

Some people have improved the shielding on their temperature sensors, you should be able to find details in the forum.

The wiki has some information on this; if you have something specific in mind, I'm sure someone will be able to guide you.

If it was another brand weather station would that work maybe (like having 2 printers)?

Thanks for the Wiki link. Looks like it will be a real help.

As for the twitter, I am need to tweak some html pages with a rss feed and convert that to a stream twitter can work with. If successful I will share it here.

As for sending my feeds to PWS or Weather Underground, do either of the 2 have significant advantages or disadvantages over the other?

Thanks again for the help and hope to be able to help others as I become more proficient.

Chris

That would work. It may be that two of the same type would work, I really don't know. I'm not actually sure I follow why you want 2 stations on one PC, though. They would have to be very close together, what would be the point?

I upload to both; I imagine many people do. WU is the more well-known of the two.

I have 2 houses and move my pc's back and forth. Would be nice if I can archive the log from the "weather" pc when I am at that house and just have on my main pc. When I leave I replace log/data into the "weather" pc and remove the good PC. One of my houses internet connection is very limited (high up in the mountains) and I can not have more than 1 pc online at a time. Very annoying!

Oh, I see. I think. You don't actually want to run the two stations on one PC simultaneously. You can certainly do what you're suggesting, just have two separate installations of Cumulus on one PC, and run the appropriate installation depending on which weather station's data you're currently using.

Perfect

I would so rather master 1 device then do 1/2 the job with 2.
