Re: web update sometimes hangs
I'm looking into adding more FTP logging (because the standard stuff is rarely much use). If I succeed, it might help track this problem down.

Re: web update sometimes hangs
Now I've looked at what I can add, I don't think it's going to be much help. Are there any FTP error messages in the diags file at about the time it stopped updating?

2/12/2010 22:22:52.013 : 10:22:52 p.m. FTP Error: FTP component not connected"
That's all, unfortunately.
I didn't have any logging on because it happens so rarely and the log files become very large (and I cannot delete FTP log without closing down Cumulus)

Re: web update sometimes hangs
I'll change the code so that when it gets an FTP error, it aborts and resets everything. That should happen anyway, but maybe some types of error don't work that way.DaveNZ wrote:2/12/2010 22:22:52.013 : 10:22:52 p.m. FTP Error: FTP component not connected"
Why not?and I cannot delete FTP log without closing down Cumulus

Re: web update sometimes hangs
Once FTP logging has been enabled during a session of Cumulus, even if the logging is turned off the same message above still applies.steve wrote: Why not?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Ah, OK. I'll change it so that you can delete the file once logging has been turned off.
