There is an option in Cumulus to update the forecast hourly, that may help as pressure and wind direction will affect the forecast (flapping). That's what I have set and it works well. Of course you don't have to use the forecast feature at all, but it can be good to compare to other stations. As Steve has implied, don't make life dependant decisions based on a hobby weather station.

Cumulus-Zambretti forecast really shines when local conditions captured by your sensors produce a micro-forecast that beats the national forecast.

Several times now the Cumulus forecast has said no rain when WG showed 70-80% and on one occasion, it predicted rain when no one else did and it did rain very close to the station. The point is, the Cumulus forecast advantage is local sensor reading.

One thing you might want to do is use your own forecast descriptions which Steve gave us the ability to do which is kind of neat. See the link.

Thanks for the info/link! The initial learning curve is proceeding ;) I have no complaints. Cumulus is great! 8-) It's me just needing to get past the initial learning curve on everything. ;)
