Adjusting monthly pressure low

Post by bumpy »

I run the Beta version and made and saved a manual adjustment to the All Time Records page - Cumulus recording the lowest pressure of 964.3mb from the 5 minute stored data from the station whereas the station had actually recorded 964.2mb. The difference occuring because the station recorded data at the 48 second interval whilst my computer was off. The All Time Record page correctly shows the manual - lower - adjustment but this has not been reflected in the This Month, This Period or This Year pages all of which continue to show 964.3mb. I didn't expect my manual adjustment to be reflected on these pages until the next day but as I made the adjustment on 9 November it seems unlikely that this will happen now.
Any ideas?

The only place Cumulus gets its monthly (etc) highs and lows from is from data read from the station; it isn't constantly scanning all-time records to see if they have been modified and might affect the current month or year - altering an all-time record has no effect on anything else. If you want the change to be reflected in other data, you will need to edit that data, e.g. for the new 'This month's highs and lows' display you need to edit month.ini, and for the old 'this month' display, you will need to edit the low value for that day in dayfile.txt.
