I have poked around the forum for more than just a couple of minutes and cannot find what I am looking for. Is there or, should (could) there be an area where folks can post a link to their Cumulus Websites? Sure, people put such links in their signatures. But, what about a specific repository of links to our pages? Maybe even make it a "sticky."
For me, this would be useful in designing my own site as I would be able to see what others have done and apply what I like to mine. I am by no stretch of the imagination a HTML nerd and CSS makes my head spin. So, seeing the creativity of those more right-brained than I, would be a rich reward.
Here is Mine (that I have not done much to).
What say you my weather brethren?

Re: Cumulus Websites
Hi Mark - click on the Members link above. Websites are in the last column.
Some have changed out of sight from Cumulus (if they ever started like that), some no longer work, some are simple copies of the basic pages, like mine. I've really only changed a few colours around to my taste, that's about the limit of my expertise.

There's a list of user web sites in the wiki (see link above) and there's also the user map (see link above).

Mark
Others have answered your question, however I have one for you
Where/what is 91360-4728 Weather? I don't even know what country I am looking at! Also thinking if people were to search for your weather site in Google, how would they find it
Just something that struck me

Google Earth coordinates point to Thousand Oaks, California. A bit west of LA.

Re: Cumulus Websites
From my time spent in Olympia, Washington, U.S.A. - so, from the number 91360-4728 the '91360' represents the zip code (postal code) and the '4728' represents the area code - as pointed out by Ned, the '91360' represents the city of Thousand Oaks in California, U.S.A.

Re: Cumulus Websites
To be honest it was more of a rhetorical question -- I know I could find 'where' based on the co-ordinates but surely better to mention it somewhere on the site

Right on! I was looking at another weather site recently and the only location given was Lake Matapedia.daj wrote:To be honest it was more of a rhetorical question -- I know I could find 'where' based on the co-ordinates but surely better to mention it somewhere on the site
I had to Wikipedia Matapedia to find where in the world it was.

Re: Cumulus Websites
I totally agree. It's a bit pointless stating your website address either in your signature or in the website address field for your profile if all you see when you visit the site is "Welcome to Johns Weather Station" for example.
Apart from seeing how others have developed their pages, I am also actually interested in the weather in other parts of the world!

Re: Cumulus Websites
Greetings Friends,
Thank you for the pointer to Members' Websites.
My use of my Zip Code+four as the name of my Website is not meant to be confusing or, misleading. It is simply what I came up with at the time I created my Website.
Sure, no one will find it by a Google search. However, when one searches CWOP, Weather Underground, PWS etc. for "Thousand Oaks", they will see my Site.
Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction,
