Just had a look at my rainfall today graph and noticed it dropped immediately to zero at midnight. I've compared it to nking's one and his shows the same, see below:
Mine:
nking:
Our stations are about 20 miles apart with the South Downs inbetween us (which usually means we get vastly different weather at times). It is of course possible the rain stopped at the two locations at exactly the same time, but wondering if it is a bug? All other graphs seem OK.
Forgive me if someone has already reported this, I couldn't find anything.
Any thoughts?

Re: 962 Rain through midnight
The graph shows "rainfall today". I'm not sure what else it could do but return to zero at midnight?

Re: 962 Rain through midnight
I guess what was puzzling me is that my graph periods are 48hours so technically the graph is not only rainfall today. Of course it has to reset to zero at midnight if the graph was intended to show todays rain.steve wrote:The graph shows "rainfall today". Thanks Steve.

Yes; the 'today' bit relates to the rainfall period, not the graph period. Strictly speaking I suppose the graph should be called something like "Cumulative daily rainfall" but then it would probably need a "so far" (or something) on the end to distinguish it from the graph of daily totals.Synewave wrote:I guess what was puzzling me is that my graph periods are 48hours so technically the graph is not only rainfall today.
