allow a user to choose a date and look at all of the graphs

Post by pacificblue03 »

Okay so i wanted to know what scripting would be needed to allow a user to choose a date and look at all of the graphs

Say they select November 3rd and the graphs for that day will show up i have seen it on other cumulus pages so i know it is doable i just need some guidance

Perhaps you could contact the owner of the site and ask them how they do it.

Antonio,

I think what Dan means is contact the site owner though this forum, maybe a PM? Surely you found the site with the code you were interested in through this forum as you said it was a Cumulus user?

Hi Antonio,

Firstly, I have split your post off into its own topic as it was not related to the thread it was attached to the end of! Best to start new topics for new issues.

Okay so i wanted to know what scripting would be needed to allow a user to choose a date and look at all of the graphs

Say they select November 3rd and the graphs for that day will show up i have seen it on other cumulus pages so i know it is doable i just need some guidance
This is possible using a combination of technologies -- most achieve this via PHP. MySQL and a graphing tool. Cumulus does not have this ability as it over writes your graphs each time it does a web upload. Your website would need to rebuild the graphs from historic data as a user picks the day they are interested in.
